About the Homestead

Big Scrub Homestead is a family-owned farm set amongst beautiful native bushland, where country life and heartfelt hospitality go hand in hand. Surrounded by towering gums and open skies, our home and venue lawn sit peacefully within a landscape rich in natural character.

Koalas are native to the area and are often spotted in the surrounding trees, a gentle reminder of the unique Australian environment that makes this place so special. For our family, sharing the homestead as a wedding venue is about welcoming others to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments in a setting that feels authentic, relaxed and deeply connected to the land.
